Call for Buhari's resignation...
The Deputy National Chairman (South), All Progressives Congress, Chief Segun Oni, has depicted those requiring the abdication of President Muhammadu Buhari as "dishonest" and "insidious".
The previous legislative head of Ekiti State said this amid a gathering for the Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Oye Ekiti, Prof. Kayode Soremekun.
He faulted the financial issues in the nation on bungle and maladministration of previous President, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
"Have you seen an economy where marabouts are given such humongous money essentially in light of the fact that some person needs to win a decision and come back to influence at all expense. Those encouraging the president to leave are devilish. Buhari did not bring about what we are seeing today.
"We are discussing the individuals who were not content with taking just cash but rather even unrefined petroleum. It resembled contracting vandals to arrange and superintend over the fortunes of an entire nation. That organization carried out a considerable measure of barbarities and went to mindboggling wrongdoings upon the general population. They simply plundered Nigeria dry."
The previous senator however communicated confidence that the economy would soon enhance passing by the endeavors of the Federal Government to switch the circumstance, which, he said, were at that point yielding results.
Oni bragged that the APC would recuperate Ekiti in the 2018 governorship race, including that the matter of building up the state was a genuine one.
"You needn't bother with stargazers or diviners to let you know Ekiti does not require flyovers when you can't pay rates, when numerous tasks are left surrendered, when government workers are kicking the bucket of appetite."
"Senator Ibikunle Amosun did not say he won't pay specialists since he is building spans in Ogun state. Amid my organization, Ekiti was number 10 on the human improvement record since we were number 24 on the wage for each capita list.
"I didn't obtain a significant amount of wealth. I have never needed in my life. I looked for the chance to administer Ekiti in light of the fact that I saw a requirement for the intercession of authentic, individuals centered organization which my organization gave. Proofs are there, even till today," he included.
